Wine of origin Franschhoek
Pairs beautifully with curry, roast chicken and spicy food. The wine shows hints of citrus and pineapple, dried apricot and stone fruit leading into a dry savory finish.
Grapes from three Franschhoek vineyards are picked at different stages of ripeness. There is no skin contact and the grapes are pressed and fermented in 100% stainless steel tanks using a variety of yeasts strains. 50% left on the fine lees to mature for three months in stainless with occasional stirring to develop a full rich body. Other 50% aged in old 228L barrels for 4 months.
